Inarizaki High
Shinsuke Kita
Inarizaki's steady captain, who does every small thing right without fail and keeps a team of wild talents in line.
The anime follows Shoyo Hinata, a short first-year who dreams of following in the footsteps of the Little Giant, and Tobio Kageyama, a gifted setter with a difficult attitude. The two rivals end up on the same team at Karasuno High and together create one of the fastest attacks in high school volleyball.
Nekoma High from Tokyo is Karasuno's old rival. Its coach and Karasuno's former coach were rivals in their own playing days, and the matches between the cats and the crows became known as the Battle at the Garbage Dump. Nekoma is known for a defense that keeps the ball alive no matter what: Kenma Kozume, Tetsuro Kuroo, Lev Haiba, Morisuke Yaku and Taketora Yamamoto.
Fukurodani Academy is a Tokyo powerhouse that trains with Karasuno and Nekoma at the summer training camp: Kotaro Bokuto and Keiji Akaashi.
Inarizaki High
Inarizaki High from Hyogo Prefecture is one of the strongest teams in Japan, famous for trying bold new plays in the middle of a match: Atsumu Miya, Rintaro Suna, Osamu Miya and Shinsuke Kita.
In volleyball every player has a job. The setter runs the attack, the spikers score, the middle blockers stop the other team's attacks and the libero, who wears a different-colored jersey, specializes in defense. The table shows each character's position.
Height matters in volleyball, and the gap between the shortest and tallest players in Haikyu!! is huge. The table lists every character from tallest to shortest, as measured at the start of the story.
Our popularity ranking, shaped in part by your votes, decides the order of the cards. Right now Toru Oikawa is on top, ahead of Kenma Kozume and Shoyo Hinata.
Our popularity ranking combines two things: how often people search for each character and your votes. The ranking is updated every month, and the Fan Favorites list changes every day. Each card shows the character as the story first introduces them, so the facts never spoil what comes later.
